Tom O’Brien Construction have just completed the upgrade of an existing 14 bed ward at Wexford General Hospital. The works involved working within an existing live hospital, with substantial upgrades to the mechanical and electrical services, involving critical services such as man down alarms, fire alarms, emergency lighting and medical gases all co-ordinated by our contracts managers.
Works also included the remodelling and upgrade of the main hospital street corridor and the installation of a new link corridor at the front elevation of the hospital. A new deliveries area was also completed within the time frame. Tom O’Brien continues to be a trusted partner for the HSE delivering difficult projects on time, safely and with the minimum of interference.
