This multi-million euro major restoration of a protected structure into a state of the art modern school building has been a long time coming to completion. Progress had been affected by Covid lockdowns and unexpected finds of a historical nature both within the building and in the ground. The building is now unrecognisable from its original state and has been brought up to current standards by Tom O’Brien Construction, aided by a skilled team of designers and trusted subcontractors. We hope this meticulously restored gaelscoil building and the new 8 classroom extension handed over in Phase 1 of this project to the client in 2020 will give a lot more space and comfort to all the staff and pupils for the coming years. We wish the staff and students all the best with their wonderful new facility.
