TOB carried out the re-roofing of the Historic Tramore Railway Station for Waterford City & County Council using a Heather Natural Slate. Manor stone supplied a number of capping stones to us for installation matching the existing stones that had succumbed to weathering. Flat roofs were also replaced during this initial first phase works. Phase 1 is now complete and the building is now watertight again. Hopefully funding will be found in the future to restore this important piece of our transport heritage back to its former glory. The photos attached give an example of the roof before and after.
