From the initial construction of the main terminal including arrivals and departure halls and all the required facilities for the airport tower, Tom O’Brien Construction have been closely tied to the ongoing development of Waterford Airport. We have been involved as main contractor in the building of the three main hangars, the new larger apron increased in size and strength to accommodate the BAE 146 Jet and the ATR 72, the first runway extension, the new build for the coast guard station building and hangar for their helicopters, allied with with the extension of the taxi way to facilitate the new state of the art Sikorsky S-92. Tom O’Brien Construction are proud of their association with Waterford Airport and all of the infrastructural works we have provided for them and the South East area through the years.
